I like 'em both. The 135/3.5 is small and light and uses the 49mm filters.
The 135/2.8 might just squeak you through when you need a little more light.
Have to admit, however, that since getting the 135/2.8 my 135/3.5 stays home
a lot more. I think both are sharp enough, and make OK portrait lenses.
Bokeh isn't bad either.
Beyond the obvious, I can't say as I see any specific large difference to
recommend one over the other as far as the results are concerned.
