Wow - I spend a few days away test driving some new lenses in Italy;
come back to a dozen digests!!! (NOT in genoa!!!)Even when you
discount the viruses and the html and the resending of untrimmed
messages; I've missed out on a lot of chat, some of it even about
cameras :-)
A friendly warning to mac users, from a fellow mac head (wallstreet
G3) - it's great to be smug about "safe" macs; but it is very easy to
propogate a virus through your machine; even if it is not affected by
it - just ask my boss, who sent just about everbody in my department
........ you can guess the rest.
Dave, congrats on the 16 - v jelous.
Tris - have enjoyed your threads hugely
Lucas electronics - yup, people in the U.K. think they suck as well;
a family friend used to work for them at quite a high level and he
wouldn't touch anything they made.
Vintage cars - no comment; never had a licence...
Cheers for now
Pete
