Okay, now it's safe for me to admit that my first car was a Renault
Le Can -- er, Car (Renault 5 in the rest of the world). Brilliant
design, actually. Amazing ride comfort, a definite sense of style, a
sunroof that almost made it a convertible, and a lot of room (got a
whole LazyBoy in it once, along with two people and a week's
groceries for a family of four), but absolutely indifferent build
quality and the world's worst service brought to you by American
Motors (R.I.P.). Textbook example of why no one sells French cars in
America now.... :-p
