There is already a Sigma 28mm f/2.8 (if I recall righ) which stops down
to f/64. Don't go there! The loss of resolution AND contrast due to
diffraction effects will kill your pictures. Diffraction effects show up
even at f/16 and f/22. There is good reason that manufacturer's lens
stop at reasonably small apertures.
