Daniel
I bought an OM2SP when I was worried about possible unreliability
of my OM10 (with manual adaptor). The OM10 is still going strong (it had
one major repair about 4 years ago after failing on a foreign holiday) and
I still regularly use both, normally loading
them with different films.
I think that the difference which I find most useful is the spot
metering which accompanies the manual setting while at other times the TTL
flash facility with my T32 is very useful on the OM2SP (but fill-in flash
is still a problem).
I do not notice any problem with the batteries provided I switch
the OM2SP to Red 'B' or red '1/60' when not in use and do not leave the
flash switched on for long (I have the 'green light' version).
I admit that would like an OM4Ti but am unlikely to seriously
think about it as long as the OM2SP continues to function.
Brian.
