The following is true and is NOT meant as an insult to Australians. I once read, in a newspaper article, that Australians were being urged to include more salad and fruit in their diet because the preponderance of meat was causing flatulence, which contributed to global warming! Regards, ===== Ray Actually the problem is animals like cows in the meat production and dairy industries in which flatulence is a real contributor to greenhouse gases. I heard at one stage that there was a tax on bovine flatulence in some country or another for this reason.
