Hiya all,
Wow, I've not been able to catch up with the list for a few days, and today
I found no less than 467 messages waiting. Consequently, I'll have to skip
some of the discussions, and read some of the others a bit quicker than I'd
like to.
Anyway, this message is to share some personal joy with the group; as you
Zuikoholics might have seen on the list last week I was lusting for a 21/2.
Now I didn't quite manage to find one of those, but last Saturday a
different member was added to the family which I like much better. She's a
gorgeous black lil' lady, and she's so precious that I even decided to name
here after the members of our family. Perhaps some of you can already feel
coming what I'm about to say, for indeed, she's not a camera, nor a lens,
but rather she's a Labrador puppy. :) At half the price of the very much
desired 21/2, I feel this dog will give me much more pleasure than any
Zuik-fix ever could, so the money is well spent. Once our new clever girly
gets fully accustomed to my other beloved "black babies" (this time I _am_
talking about the OMs and Zuikos ;) ) I'm positive she will become the
subject for many more rolls of Provia F than the one I have already shot of
her (Ob-Oly: OM-4Ti + 35-80/2.8 and 100/2, and the T32 for some shots).
Alright, I just had to share that with the group. More to come as soon as I
have the first slides in, and if there are already some keepers I'll make a
page about this black beauty. :)
