I agree - the new narrow film tongue rips easily.
After my bad experience, I tested with an old roll of
long expired film that had the old sturdy tape, and it
just ripped the sprocket holes. I wonder if the slip
clutch gets stiff and ineffective with age.......maybe
John H. knows....
