Yes,
That and the illuminator button and, I believe, it also acts something like
an Off switch - at least as much as it can ever be off due to the design.
No I didn't intentionally store that way, in fact I took extra steps to
ensure even the strap wasn't touching anything - that was just how bad the
drain was. As mentioned too, I go through a lot of film.
