Be careful!. The hood for the 28-48/4 mounts on the outside, 55mm threads
of that lens. I don't know if the 28/3.5's hood would be the right shape
mounted on the inner, 49mm threads.
I'd do some testing for vignetting.

Bill, you can use the metal hood of the 28/3.5 on the 28-48 *without*
filter. The advantage of this hood is that the wide side is 67 mm, so you
can protect the lens with the hood attached with a 67 mm cap.
The hood of the 28/3.5 can be bought by the dozen.
