To test it, set the mode switch to battery check. If it shuts off after
approximately 30 seconds, it's the later circuit.
If it's just been CLA'd I think it's a good price. Others may
disagree... I paid $250 for mine, purchased on our favorite auction
site. It has the late circuit but it's original ( No CLA ), it has
silver battery and MD covers, and a bit of wear on the back and bottom.
