Arf! Not you too.....
"Mange hilsner" is a danish phrase, roughly equivalent to "sincerely" -
not a name. "Mange", litterally, means "many", "hilsner" means
"greetings". However I am now going to change my signature - it's
not the first time this causes misunderstanding (the total number of
emails starting by calling me "mange" exceeds the volume of a month of
OM-list.....).

Maybe so, but I guess that would be in other circles than those where I
spend my time (I work at a research lab. Evidently, an universal trend is
for researchers to be mostly ignorant to fashion....now, you also know
why there is no TOPE-1 entry from me *grin*)
