A "desuperheater" is a bypass loop in the ground source coolant loop for
transfering waste heat during the cooling mode to a domestic hot water
heater. Instead of heating up the ground through the ground source loop
during the summer time, it heats up the domestic hot water instead. This
means that your get FREE HOT WATER in the summer time for baths, etc.
