Thanks for that review Rich. I have a Fuji GS645S (with the 60mm
lens) and I like it a lot, although I have not takenmany photos with
it. But I am very keen to get my hands on the Bronica RF645
system... to supplement my OM system of course ;-).

I just don't understand why the RF645, a substantially smaller
format, is almost the same size as the Mamiya 7. None of the articles
seem to note it.
M7: L=6.3"(159mm), W=4.4"(112mm), D=2.6"(66mm), WT=32.4oz(920g),
42.7oz(1210g) with normal lens.
RF645: L=5.7"(145.6mm), W=4.2"(107.3mm), D=2.5"(64mm),
WT=28.6oz(810g), 39.2oz(1110g) with normal lens.
Their body dimensions are close enough to be the same format. What is
really embarassing is that Bronica's 65mm normal lens is heavier than
the 80mm normal lens on the M7.
OM content: Camera carrying heaven=
OM4T: L=5.35"(136mm), W=3.3"(84mm), D=1.97"(50mm), WT=18oz(510g).
with 50/2.8 lens(2+ stops faster than either of the
above)=23.8oz(675g)
The rangefinder base is proportionately shorter than the one on the
M7 so that it will run into the same problem in that the rangefinder
is essentially nonfunctional with lenses longer than the 35 mm
equivalent of 75 mm. For all the magazine hype it appears to be a
pedestrian, "me too" design effort on the part of Bronica. If they
had built it to be about 2/3 the size of the M7 and a longer
rangefinder base that would allow accurate focussing with the
equivalent of of 100-135mm lens they might deserve the praise that is
being heaped on them.
My 2 cents.
