As I recall, the Olympus manual for the T-32 is available as a pdf on the
SIF site. Further, the paper manual that I have instructed the user to turn
the unit off before removing the panel (by pressing the tiny button on the
lower right corner.) I think the point is to let the unit "power up" with
the panel in place.
