That's correct, with the OM1N the viewfinder only shows a flash ready light, no
TTL, for that you need an OM2N.

Hi Faisal,
the OM1 and OM1n has no TTL flash support at all, only manual and the auto
mode built into most flashes can be used.

now im confident that 1N is not a bad choice and that
my love for that piece is true. Did I heard Michael
Virsinger saying it wont be a good choice for flash
photography but it has got a shoe 4 on the top...means
full TTL support like the OM 2N..am I rite
the body here costs Rs 9000 some $150.
