This sounds about right, as I lose about 2-2 1/2 stops from my
T32 with a Stofen Diffuser, measured with a flash meter.
I would suppose that you would lose less light through the milk
bottle diffuser.

May be different. I did some tests with a milk bottle diffuser to see how
much light was lost over straight flash and it turned out to be 1 and
1/2-3/4 stops IIRC. Don't bet the farm on that 1/2 stop.
