That is a variation on the old "I don't want to shop mail order dealers
because I've been ripped off in the past."
Buying anything used is a risk, no matter where you shop. The trick is
to learn to minimize the risk. You can't eliminate it, but shopping
smart will allow you to return an item if it doesn't suit you.
