Chris, You're a better photographer than you think. NIce work.
Years to come, your kids will cherish those pics of themselves (that hug is
PRICELESS -- you couldn't possibly compose that, but you DID catch it!), and
fondly recall the old man and his "Zuikoholism". Be sure to hand your camera
to a stranger from time to time (*gulp*), and get yourself in some of those
family pics.
My brother-in-law and I swapped cameras with the couple from Edmonton who
were sitting behind us at the Mariners/Blue Jays game last Sunday. They now
have pics of themselves in Seattle on their P & S, and bro-in-law's "new"
OM-2S contains a pic of himself with HIS dorky bro-in-law at the game. Those
kinds of pics rarely win prizes, but provide cherished memories, years to
come.
I love to use my OM equipment to shoot sunrises, sunsets, flowers, mountains,
boats, wildlife, etc., in the Great Northwest. But I know that the photos I
take of family most likely will be the most looked at and admired of all my
pics, and of course those family pics will always generate the most sentiment.
Keep shooting and posting those pics, and ah..., keep accumulating
"educational" equipment for Zuikoholics Anonymous!
Rich
