I am in favor of the 49mm filter size Olympus lenses, and I currently own the
100/2.8. I enjoy the lens, but in low light situations, it is a bit slow
stopped
down to f/4 or f/5.6 for sharpness. (Mainly elementary school stage photography
in these situations.)
I like the idea of the extra focal length of the 100/2, but the 85/2 seems like
a good compromise in speed vs. cost.
Can anyone with experience using the 85/2 or 100/2 comment on their usability
for available light/ stage photography? Strengths, weaknesses.... Size, which
to go for....
