At 02:08 5/8/01, Skip Williams asked:
Can you put a F280 on a Bounce Grip 2 and get improved recycle times? And
will a TTL cord from the OM-4T body to the flash then control the Super-FP
flash mode in this configuration? (I have a TTL cord for the F280 as a
backup)
First Question:
Yes and No. It will fit on a BG2, however if you look at the front of an
F280 it has the inset but not the three pins for the BG2 to power
it. (Have BG2 and had F280 at one time).
Second Question:
Yes. The proper (7 pin) TTL cord from a 4T to the F280 would work just as
if you did not have it on a BG2. In order for the hot shoe in the BG2 to
become "hot:"
a. use a 5-pin TTL cord (OM-1n through OM-4 era)
from camera body to the grip handle, or
b. use a proper TTL cord from body directly to flash, or
c. plug the built-in PC cord on the bottom of the BG2 base
to the PC socket on the camera body and leave the handle
attached to the base (obviously there's no TTL control
doing it this way; just the flash trigger).
