Kodak used to make a special printing paper (panchrome/panchromatic -
something like that) which was for printing black and white from
colour negs. It had to be treated like colour paper (ie no red
safelight) but could be processed in standard b and w chemistry. I
remember being very pleased with the results but i havn't used the
stuff for a long time so it may not be around anymore......
