Yes, Martin Evening contributed a fair number of articles on the
Digital Darkroom to Amateur Photographer (UK) last year and the year
before. He seems to be knowledgeable and skilled in this area of
computer work and photography.

There's a new book out, "Adobe Photoshop 6.0 for Photographers" by Martin
Evening that is about the best I've seen on the subject. Tailored
exclusively for photographers, the book covers every aspect of Photoshop and
digital/analog photography from film scanning through outputting CMYK
negatives for litho printing and everything aspect of photo manipulation in
between. Good, practical stuff by a Brit even us Texans can understand.
