Trevor,
I can't point you to a site. I do, however, own both of these little cameras
and can give you some comparisons:
In general, the XA is the "more versatile" of the two. It has multiple
f-stop settings (2.8-22), rangefinder focus, ASA selectable from 25-800,
back-light compensation setting, self timer and in-finder display of the
camera's selected shutter speed. Aperture selection is made via a slide
control left of the lens (looking at the camera from the front) that selects
the flash as well, focus is below the lens via a small lever, backlight
compensation is via the self-timer/check switch on the bottom of the camera.
The XA2 is a zone focus camera. Where the XA has its aperture selection
control, the XA2 has, instead, a three-position "distance setting" switch.
One position for "close-up", another for "middle distance", and a third
that's essentially an infinity setting. ASA is selectable from 25-800. Where
the XA had its focusing lever, the XA2 has a small, two-position switch to
activate the flash. There's also a self timer/check switch on the bottom,
but no backlight compensation as on the XA.
Other than control differences, the two cameras are virtually identical in
appearance and seem to weigh nearly the same. They're exactly the same size
(as far as I can tell without actually measuring them).
HTH!

Subject: [OM] XA and XA2
Could someone tell me if there is a site where I can find out about the
Olympus XA and XA2 cameras. I have seen people proudly displaying photos
that they have taken with them, and I am interested to find out about there
features differences between models etc
Thanks.
