Congrats, and very nice to hear you both had a great time. Yes, the
Botanical Gardens at UCR are a fine place to spend time, and if you're too
far away on the other side of campus, a smaller version is also available,
complete with paths, ponds, benches, the works :) i even used to sleep
there when i had a schedule with a large gap in the middle :) very few
people knew about it till it got published in the alumni magazine as "the
best hidden spot on campus"
