I've never tried that, so I can't say it wouldn't work. My point was that
you should avoid touching the surface of the screen if at all possible.
As I found out, the matte on the screen is VERY fragile, and can be
easily scratched. And, the slighted scratch renders the screen pretty
useless. On mine, I managed to put a number of tiny scratches in the
matte which, when the screen was installed, became great BIG blobs in
the viewfinder.
In other words, maybe give the other suggestion a try, but proceed with
EXTREME caution!
