Don't like flash and tripods are too restrictive.
All you need is enough light!
My bag includes a shaving mirror mounted on a spike that
sinks into the soft soil or sand. This makes a 360 deg.
alt-azimuth mount allowing placement of the sun wherever
you like. The flat side is enough for most shots, and may
be covered with a white card for softer light. If you want
to go to 20:1 :O} use the concave mirror.
Tom Scales as usual has the ultimate solution to the tripod
problem. A couple of well trained 8yr olds to do all the low
down dirty work replace the clumsy tripod. Not much cheaper
than the Bogen, and I doubt if any of you are as well equipt.
As for that grammar thread;
HAPPY TOPEING,
Ira
