I have a Tokina 100-300/5.6 which goes down to around 1:2 at 300mm. I'm
not too sure of it's quality as I haven't used it that much (a bit heavy
for backcountry use which is most of what I do) but it seems reasonably
good. An absolute dog when used with a generic 2x converter. IIRC there
is also an f4 ATX version of this lens which would be more usable.
