The FTL had a locking pin that forced the FTL lens to lock into the body in
a specific spot. Could then determine aperture setting (wide open
metering?). Other Universal mount lenses would work, but only for stop-down
metering. I started at P&B right after the FTL was discontinued, so this is
rather murky.
