Tom,
Before you bid on the Vivitar battery holder, try
checking with Vivitar
parts department. The 283 flash battery holder is the
same as the 285
battery holder. I bought one 2 years ago for around
$5.00 if I remember
correctly on the price, give or take a few dollars.
