I looked again, and now I see that the lens accepts 49mm filters, but a
55mm hood. That's why your hood vignettes. Someone else suggested using
the 35/2 metal hood. That will "work", but it's not the same flare pitch
as the "real" hood, so you should expect some vignetting there too.

BTW, the real 28-48/4 hood is rubber, and it's marked with that lens ONLY
on its rim.

PS. Another example of why Microsoft must be stopped, the spell checker just
tried to change Zuiko to Seiko.
And in my previous post it suggested Nokia should be nookie.
