I'm not sure if I even agree with that. To assume that we are a
significant part of the population only for the rare items, you have to
assume that only list members are interested in rare items and, therefore,
non-list members don't bid on rare items.
Is this so??? I don't know! To me, the fact that an item is rare and,
therefore, more valuable (?) means that it's possible that there's just as
many non-list members (percentage-wise) who'd drool and be interested than
there are list members.
In other words, I'm not saying that Gary's premise is correct NOR am I
saying it's incorrect. I'm merely saying that I don't automatically equate
being a list member with having any influence one way or another on the
global prices of Olympus equipment.
Or, at least I *think* that's what I'm saying???? ;-)
