Clint - I have the 19mm Vivitar (bought it some months ago from the OlympusGuy
before he closed his web site). I found this lens to be very nice - good
sharpness and contrast. I haven't used it too much, but the few times I've
used it, I was impressed with the results. BTW - I tested it with Fujichrome
slides and was evaluating the slides projected!

Subject: [OM] Tokina 17mm or Vivitar 19mm?
I'm looking for opinions (and maybe for sale) on the Vivitar 19mm f3.8 WA and
the Tokina 17mm f3.5. I need the close focusing ability so the Ultra Wide
zooms aren't going to work. I think the OM Zuikos (18 & 21) are a little out
of my price range right now.
Anyone out there have experiences with them good or bad?
TIA,
Clint Spesert
