What you want for a reflector is a piece of white mat board, white sheet or
even a white towel. Have someone hold it for you so you can see the fill-in
reflected light on the baby. Tin foil will give you bright sparkly
highlights that will look rather strange. Even for a baby, you'll need a
white surface something on the order of a square meter or so to be
effective.
