Listmembers,
In response to recent comments regarding this
lens....
It was the second ? "real" Olympus lens I bought. I traded in a Sigma 28mm
lens, added about £50 / $75 and walked out of the camera shop with a brand
new front end for my Om 1n! This is one of the 2 lenses tht I WOULD NOT part
with, the other being my Tamron 90mm f2.5 macro!!! I have had the
28-48 lens for about 18yrs? I love the results that this lens gives me in
B+W photography. I really like the rotating zoom ring and separate
focussing.
Only disadvantages...rotating front element can be a pain when using
polarizing filter, and an extra stop of light would help when focussing when
using a red filter. Regards, John Duggan,
