While there are those who are unable to send in plain text, and those who
sometimes don't snip text or forget to, the vast majority of this list, I
believe, make extra effort to clean up their posts and think before they send.
To
say that the requests are "invariably ignored" ignores the fact that most of us
are careful and do a good job.
