Chris B says
BTW, if you are dissatisfied uith your Zuiko mirror, please get in
touch John...
Dream on, pal! What's it the bumper stickers say? "They can have my
Zuiko when they prise it from my cold dead fingers"
... then I wake up and see the 4 grey walls that surround me... and I
realise, yes, I was only dreaming...
But my bathroom mirror is most unsatisfactory. Whenever I look in it I
see a scruffy middle-aged drunkard and wonder how he got into the
house.
The same bloke gets into my house occasionally; he even gets my wife
to drive him home from the railway station sometimes because he is
unfit to drive... :>) - used to at any rate.
A bit seriously though - mirror bokeh can be quite nice, those
doughnuts on backlit water can be quite surreal. But out of focus
foliage in the background is just plain nasty.
I like the sample mirror photo in the Lens Handbook - page 59, a lady
with dark hair and shorts walking away from the photographer for
those without this tome.
And what's with the single "u"s, Chris?
I don't know John P, I am trying to give them up: you are only
allowed so many *u*nits per week according to the Government, and no
binging at weekends :>).
They crept into other people's messages and I asked John Lind
off-List why he was doing it (and it was me all along). I'm never
wrong you know... well I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.
I'll stop rambling now...
Chris
