I see it did reduce your results to some not insignificant degree. I see that
you tested the Leica lens only at f2. Is there less of a difference at
smaller apertures in your experience or is there always the same reduction in
photo quality regardless of aperture if used with a filter.
I thought of writing a magazine article for submission but never got (or will
get) around to it. That is to stack 3 B&W, 3 Hoya, 3 No name, and 3 Cokin
filters on a Zuiko 90/2 or some lens and measure resolution to see what
degradation occurs. While the effect of one filter might be arguably
ambiguous, if there is a filter effect, it should show up with 3 stacked ones.
