I did send a mail to CyberPhoto AB ( http://www.cyberphoto.se ) about the
possibility of using these
Hama converters with the iS cameras, and here is what they answered (translated
to Eng of course
:-):

"Hama converters only fit video cameras. They cannot be used with digital
cameras or even less with
cameras that take ordinary film. This is due to the fact that video converters
display a
considerably smaller surface than the lens of an ordinary camera, analogue or
digital. The result
would be dark corners in the picture (vinjetting)."

For some reason I'm not fully convinced he knows what he's talking about...
Aren't the iS/L converters also a kind of video converters? What's the big
difference then between
them and every other kind of frontmounted converters??
