260 deg C by my math. If memory serves, the conversion is:
c = 5/9 * (f - 32)
f = 9/5 * c + 32
For some bizarre reason, I always remember this formula. I haven't taken
a science course for 6 years now (Arts student) and that was "rocks for
jocks" (first year geology, the geology course that's listed as a
"science course for liberal arts students"). And in high school, we
never did anything in deg f.
Trivia for the day, as of 1990 only 3 countries in the world had not
officially switched to metric. Name all 3 countries.
