No the longer of the two is the one for the viewing lens it contains a prism
to help correct for parallax caused by the camera being closer to the
subject. If it is like the one I have for my Yashica there should be a dot
or mark that you put at the top so the prism is situated correctly. John

I just purchased a set of Rollei close up lenses for the Rolleiflex 2.8
series, and I'm wondering which lens goes on which lens.... Is there a
Rolleiflex user on this group that can help me? From what I have read, it
seems that the longer of the two close up lenses goes on the taking lens.
Is this correct? Any information would help.
