"Black Lights" provide UV-A, but little or no UV-B.
Even with a lamp that will give UV-B, it would only
work on the accessible surfaces of the lens - normal
optical glass absorbs UV-B and it won't penetrate
beyond the surface to any extent.
UV-B is definitely the more potent too, I'm not sure
UV-A is fungicidal at all.
