I remember years ago when a fellow member of a four-wheel-drive club built
a huge bullbar on the front of his Landcruiser. He bolted this massive
weldment to the vehicle's frame with 1/2" high tensile bolts with the
thought that no kangaroo in Oz would ever harm his pride and joy.
A month later he fell asleep at the wheel somewhere near the Simpson Desert
and ran head-on into the only tree for miles around. The 4X4's chassis was
so buckled the rear doors were jammed solid!
And THAT'S why I always like to use a rubber lens hood.
Regards to all,
John.

Damn - of course he did. But the basic point stands. I'm about to make a
wooden tool to remove a ring-ding so my mind was elsewhere.
Still - crumple zones......hmmmm.
