I think this explains perfectly why the "buy it now" option is good.
It creates a win-win situation for everyone. The seller is happy because
they got the price they wanted, and the buyer is happy because they got the
item for a price they wanted (except for Chip of course :-) In the past eBay
has received a reputation of being biased for sellers . I think the "buy it
now" feature may start to change that and attract even more buyers.
