Well, today I went completely nuts. OK, I could understand the big kit on
ebay. It was a decent price (not a big profit maker). Mostly I bought it to
help Chip out, yeah, yeah, that's it.
I really wanted the 40/2. In a silly fit of 'fear of overspending', I sold
mine. Why, oh why. So, what do I do? I spend $4000 to get it back. Well,
with some other toys.
OK, that's bad enough. But (ain't there always a But?).
Did any of you see the post earlier today of the large kit to the OM-Traders
list? Somebody did, because you bought a 35/2 from him. Well, I spent the
day emailing back and forth with him, sharing what the equipment was worth,
in my opinion. In the end, I succumbed (not a word I get to use very often)
and made him an offer. Again, not a steal, but a pretty fair price for him.
Oh no, he accepted.
Anybody need anything <g>?
