That would make a lot of sense! It would need to be coated on the threads, as ti
and disimilar metals have a tendancy to cold bond if left in contact for a long
time. (Like if someone leaves a filter on all the time.) Not a real problem as
the
coatings/treatments are readily available. It would make for a very tough filter
ring. Would also be great for metal hoods BTW.
