Hi Paul.
The autograph is on a special metal plate glued on the back door of
the camera, inserted in a square shaped cut-out of the leatherette.
AFAIK it was a special edition camera, handed out to some of the
official Olympus OM dealers in the 70's, probably as a reward for high
sales numbers.
I have no clue re. the collectibility of this item, or its value. I
also don't know how many have been produced. A number of 100 was
mentioned to me some time ago....
