I believe it means 5 elements in the lens (A=1, B=2 ETC)

You shouldn't have worried about getting the shaft with this if it is
the enlarger lens. I have been using one for many years as a macro,
mounted ( albeit with Rube Goldberg technolgy ) on my PenFT's and OM's.
Can't compete with all the experts on the list, but am satisfied with is
performance tho stll shooting for that ultimate MASTERPIECE.
Bought it new serial #100135. Anyone know what the E between Zuiko and
1:2.8 means?
