Tom,
Thanks for the welcome. And thanks Jim and Garth for your good advises too.
You all seem like a happy bunch.
The OM-2 is certainly a nice camera even for its age. It joins company with
an M3 Leica and ZEX Mamiya. I've been a 2,1/4 freak in the past (3.5 Tessar
Rollei and even a 'Blad) but found that format was a little too expensive
to sustain. Secondhand wide-angle lenses for a Hassleblad in Sydney require
a second mortgage on the house!
Looking forward to many interesting chats.
John.

John,
Welcome to the list! I can't help you, as I am too scared to ever open up
my OM equipment, but you found a great place here. I consider this group a
part of my extended family and I am sure someone can help you.
Be warned, though <g>. This is a list of true Zuikoholics. Your first
purchase of a body and lens will soon lead to more bodies, more lenses,
lots
of accessories --- well, you get the idea.
And, we're all enablers.
Tom
