I have typed up and temporarily uploaded some new lens tests
representing (among Zuikos) redos of various single coated lenses which
I had previously only tested with a OM-1. All show improvements in SQF
grades on a OM-2S with mirror and diaphragm prefire, versus just mirror
lockup. These include the:
28mm f/2.8 MC
35mm f/2.8 SC
50mm f/1.8 SC
85mm f/2 SCv1
100mm f/2.8 SC
This should come as a relief to those who might have relegated their SC
lenses to the drawer, after my initial testing. I also have some new
Nikon, Pentax, and Canon lenses to compare to.

Thanks for that Gary. Your new results with the Zuiko 100/2.8 SC accord
more with my own impressions of that lens - it's a very nice optic
indeed, and so small.
I still agree, however, with your initial findings on the 50/1.4 SC.
Now, *that* lens stays permanently in the drawer, especially since I
have the Zuiko alternatives of 50/3.5 macro and 35-70/4.0 zoom, if I
need 50mm focal length. Both are superior to the 50/1.4 SC in my
experience.
